Ammouliani and Drenia
Drenia or Gaidouronisia, is the name of a cluster of 6 islands which are opposite Ouranoupoli in Halkidiki, south-east of Ammouliani. Their name comes from the largest island of the complex, while the smaller ones are called Penna, Feti, Artemis or Elia. They are uninhabited, in the winter these islands are deserted, but in the summer they are filled with tourists and campers who choose them for their holidays.
Access to the islands is by tourist or private boats from Ammouliani and Ouranoupoli. There are now daily routes, during the summer season, where they serve to transport people to the islands. There is also the possibility of renting a boat.
